Kenneth L. Feilner, of St. Charles, Missouri, went to his heavenly home on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Dorothy L. Feilner (nee: Herrmann); dear son of the late Fred W. and Leola Feilner; devoted father of Keith (Margaret) Feilner, Rebecca (James) Frisz, and Melissa (Ron) Davis; cherished grandfather of Michelle, Nicholas, Vanessa, and Valerie Feilner, and Micheal (Jessica), Joseph, and Lauren Frisz, and Shawn, Joseph, and Amanda Davis; treasured great-grandfather of Kennedy Frisz; and beloved owner of his dog Mickey. He is preceded in death by his siblings Ruth Ann Parker, Eunice Beckerle, Beverly Henning, and Fred Feilner, Jr.; beloved dogs Henry, Charlie, Bonnie, Dawson, and Ringo; and his cats Chi Chi and Sylvester.
Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Plastic Specialist at McDonnell Douglas for many years. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed refinishing furniture, working in the yard gardening, target shooting, rescuing dogs, and spending time with his beloved dogs. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
