Kenneth R. Gutermuth of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 84 on Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Adele Gutermuth; and his siblings, Velma (the late Henry) Weber, Sylvester (survived by Sharon) Gutermuth, and Larry Gutermuth.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Gutermuth; his children, Michael (Jeanette) Gutermuth, Mark (Marla) Gutermuth, Christy (Brian) Mundy, and Timothy Gutermuth; his grandchildren, Brooke Gutermuth, Brittany Gutermuth, Josh Gutermuth, Jack Mundy, Claire Mundy, and Cole Mundy; his step-grandchildren, Joe Borts and Melissa (Brian) Mays; his great-grandchildren, Lucas Perry, Haley Perry, and Emery Mays; and his siblings, Robert (the late Adele) Gutermuth, Raymond (Darlene) Gutermuth, Anna Marie (the late Stanley) Kilcher, Richard (Janie) Gutermuth, Vernie (Dale) Lindeman, Judy (the late Bernard) Hoeckelman, Carol (Gene) Schulte, Shirley Mae (Butch) Henke, and Sue (Randy) Richards.
Ken was a longtime parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #823. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed memberships in many local organizations such as the East Central Missouri Angus Association, and Cement Masons Local 527. He was also a past 4-H project leader and Little League coach. Ken was always very athletic and liked to spend his time hunting or playing sports. He was a hard worker who really enjoyed his time spent in his vegetable garden and raising cattle. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
