Kevin Bates

Kevin Lee Bates, of Wentzville, MO. was born in St. Charles, MO on November 21, 1964, and passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 58. Kevin was the beloved son of the late Vernon Bates and his mother, Virginia Bates (Hudspeth).

He was a loving brother to Sherrie Smith, Janice (Gary) Gerber, and Kenny (Terri) Bates. He was a treasured uncle to David Gifford, Melissa Forrester, Michael Bates, Casey Russo, Phillip Smith, Holly Bates, Jodie Bates, Brittney Lindsey, and had 13 great nieces and nephews.

Kevin was a dedicated and hard worker. He belonged to laborers local 660 and finished out his career working for M & H Concrete as a concrete laborer.

He enjoyed working on the farm bailing hay and taking care of the cattle. He also enjoyed being out on the water with his boat or wave runner, riding his motorcycle and just hanging out with his family and friends.

Kevin will be remembered by his family and friends as the life of the party, his infectious smile, the shaking of his hips on the dance floor and all the stories and jokes he told.

Kevin was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
