Kim Short

Kim E. Short (nee Stoller), of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Don Short, married 45 years; cherished daughter of the late Ray L. and the late Cleda E. Stoller. Devoted mother of Heather (Tim) Horstmann, Christopher (Megan) Short, and the late Jeremy Short; loving grandmother of Graham, Kennedy, Amelia, Ellie.  

Kim was a woman of faith and an active member of Living Word United Methodist in Wildwood. She was very creative and enjoyed crafting, painting, and quilting. Kim also loved the outdoors and found solace in nature. She loved to travel with her husband Don. Her happy place was Estes Park, CO.  

She was a kind and patient person. Kim was also so thoughtful and loving. Above all, Kim loved her family, especially her grandchildren more than anything. Kim also loved and enjoyed the company of her fur-babies, Chewy and Leia.  

Kim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kim's name to Living Word's Mission to the Ghana Project Checks may be made payable to Living Word United Methodist with a memo to the Ghana Project.
