Kimberly Ann Schweig (nee Mowery), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the age of 54. Beloved wife of Brian Matthew Schweig; cherished daughter of Donald (Ann) Mowery and Patricia (David) Birkholz; devoted mother of Tyler (Olivia) Smith, Ryan Smith, and Kayla Smith, stepmother of Corey (Brittany) Schweig, Allie (Mike) Flacke, and Kate Schweig; dear sister of Jeff (Angie Ulmer (Late)) Mowery, James Mowery, and stepsister of Jeff Birkholz and John Birkholz (Late); loving aunt of many nieces and a nephew
Kim, a remarkable individual, was known for her unparalleled acceptance, never passing judgment and extending kindness to all. Her strength, intelligence, and meticulous planning were evident in both her personal and professional life, highlighted by her attainment of a bachelor's degree from Lindenwood University in Nonprofit Administration. Kim's altruistic nature shone through her love for volunteering, always finding ways to help others. Beyond her sociable demeanor, she was described as a dear friend to many, displaying both strength and stubbornness. Her crafting skills, though perhaps bordering on being a "hoarder of craft things," showcased her creativity. Always engaged in activities for others, Kim had a diverse taste in television, ranging from paranormal and game shows to National Geographic, with an enduring love for all things Disney since her childhood. A nature enthusiast and avid traveler, she cherished camping, hiking, and fishing, drawing from her experiences as a Girl Scout and later as a scout leader for her daughter’s troop. Kim's profound impact and genuine love will be sorely missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
Memorials may be made in Kimberly's name to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.
