Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice, St. Charles or Missouri Cancer Care, Kisker Road, St. Charles. Kirby Alan Warren, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on March 18, 2009 at the age of 48 after sixteen months of courageously battling laryngeal cancer. Dear son of Robert (Amy) Warren and Madeline Warren; devoted father of Kirby Lee and Shaun (Ashley) Warren; dear brother of Lance and Todd (Vonda) Warren; dear grandson of Laverne and the late Jess Warren and the late Dennis and Rosanna Crump; cherished uncle of Travis, Austin, Ashley, Amber and Kayla Warren, Heather Laramie, Deidre and Hannah Meyer and the late Jason Laramie; dear nephew of Shirley Parker, Carol Triplett, Bill (Kathy) and Tom (Arlinda) Warren; precious cousin and treasured friend to many. Kirby acquired many trophies and medals while participating in little league wrestling, baseball, and football; continuing his love of sports at Jefferson Jr. High and St. Charles West High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (Semper Fi), married his high school sweetheart, Lori Pataky, and started a family. He had a special love for fishing and hunting and had several mounted fish, duck, and deer. A person rarely saw him without his camo cap. He also enjoyed watching the Cardinals and Rams. Kirby was employed by Allied Aviation for the past 26+ years, was a member of Union Local 618 and the MM&M Duck Club, Elsberry, Missouri. Kirby had many relatives, friends and church congregations praying for him throughout his illness for which the family is eternally grateful.
