Krista Joy Gurley

Krista Joy Gurley (nee Maples), of Saint Charles, MO, was brought home to heaven on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the age of 48. Beloved wife of 25 years to Steven Gurley; loving mother of Jacqueline Gurley and Jacob Gurley; cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Elva “Micky” Maples; daughter-in-law of Carl (the late Glenda) Gurley; dear sister-in-law of Curtis (Becky) Gurley, Donald Gurley and Michael (Judy) Gurley; treasured aunt of Jackson (Maddie) Gurley, Davis (Lauren) Gurley, Bryce Gurley, Craig (Kate) Gurley, Kristen (James) Barker, Nathan (Leah) Gurley, Guy (Alex) DeGuerre and Nalynn (Ben) Morris and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Krista was a proud member of Harvester Christian Church. She had a gift of making a personal connection with the people she met. She put God first and used that strength to pour into her kids and husband, which was felt by everyone! In her free time she loved the water, being outdoors and playing card games, but most of all, her favorite pastime was spending time with the people she loved.

Krista brought so much joy, was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
