Kristine Marie Carlson Sutton

Sutton, Kristine Marie Carlson, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the age of 59. Kristine was born in Moline, IL. Dearest wife of the late Edward Thomas Sutton, Jr., loving mother of Elizabeth Sutton and step-daughter, Eaddy (Scott Robey) Sutton; dear daughter of the late John Edward and Rose Marie Carlson; dear sister of Richard Bruce (Sharon) Carlson, beloved grandmother of Theo and Ella; special aunt to Liz King Vecera, also aunt to another niece and 3 nephews. Kristine was a special sister-in-law, great aunt, niece and cousin and is survived by numerous close friends. Kris graduated from Riverview Gardens High School and went on to obtain under graduate and graduate degrees from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. She was an active member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority at UMSL. She was very active in the local Breast Cancer Coalition and attended their national meeting annually in Washington, DC. Kris was an avid needle pointer and quilter and particularly loved to travel locally, nationally, and internationally. Also, Kris was a much-loved Mathematics teacher at Lafayette and Marquette High Schools of the Rockwood School District.
