Kristine Jo Mims

Kristine had a caring heart for people and worked as a registered nurse for more than 50 years. She began her nursing career in Savannah, Georgia and worked for various medical facilities before retiring from St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.     

Kristine met her husband while he was serving in the military. Together, they enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach. She also went on a trip every year with the girl’s club she belonged to. She had great friends and loved going out for lunch with them. On the weekends, she enjoyed going to the lake with her husband, family, and friends. In her spare time, she liked to play solitaire.  

Family meant the world to Kristine, and she looked forward to spending time with them always. Holidays were such a special time for her, and she loved to decorate and find the perfect gifts for everyone, especially her grandchildren.  

Kristine was a huge history buff and loved to read about all types of history and visit historical sites as well.  She was also very crafty, and liked spending time crocheting and making jewelry. Shopping on Amazon was a daily, or maybe an hourly, activity for Kristine, and she almost needed a hub in her front yard for all the packages. 

Kristine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Kristine's name to ENA - Emergency Nurses Association.
