L. Dwight Brown

Dwight Brown, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the age of 87. Dearest husband of 65 years to Ruth Brown (nee: Ingram); dear son of the late Glade Brown and Mary Bostick; cherished father of, Rachel Wyatt, Martha (Francis Sandt) Brown and Timothy (Linda) Brown; beloved grandfather of Amanda (James) Holt, Delaney Brown, Abigail Brown, Amanda (Erik) Vincent and Christopher (Patty) Sandt; great-grandfather of Emma Holt, Johnathan and Rain Sandt and Shelby Vincent. Dear brother of Irma Hadley. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many Dwight was employed as an Aerospace Engineer for the Department of Defense before his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture and fishing. He was a member of Church Of the Shepherd. He served in WWII as a Flight Engineer with the 483rd Bomber Group, awarded 4 Bronze stars for European campaigns and a member of the St.Charles VFW Post 2866.
