L. Jane Sherman Huellewig Young

Jane Sherman Huellewig, St. Peters, MO, July 14, 2007 age 83, dearest wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Huellewig (10/1/46-6/29/63) and LeRoy Young (11/12/76-1998); devoted mother of Susan (Roy) Horton, Mary Jane (Jonn) Clark and the late Patricia Orf Berardino; beloved grandmother of Tracie, Tony, Stasia, Katie, John, Michael, Andrew, Tony and Christine and the late Tom, great-grandmother of 7; dear sister of Elizabeth "Betty" Stonebraker and the late Thomas Sherman, Jerome Sherman and Edward Sherman, Jr.; dear sister-in-law of Margaret "Margie" Rothermich. Mrs. Young was a Security Clearance Clerk with McDonnell Douglas for 24 years. She graduated from St. Peters High, St. Charles in 1940, received her teaching certificate and started a teaching career at Baldwin School in Peruque, MO to Spencer School and grade school at Francis Howell and at All Saints. Jane's love for music started at a young age. She began to play the violin which was a gift from her Uncle John and took her first lessons from the Nuns at All Saints. Her passion grew as she got older to sharing her talent w/local small bands & playing for charitable occasions and even Midnight Mass at All Saints. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary #313 for 61 years, Ladies Sodality of All Saints, St. Peters Senior Village Board, AmVets Auxiliary and American Legion 40 and 8.
