Lamont Dahlquist

Dahlquist, Lamont of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Saturday January 3, 2015, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Mary Dahlquist; beloved son of the late Bernard Dahlquist and Ferol (Dahlquist) Bankhead; devoted father of Lamont Dahlquist, Jr. and Marcella Besser; dear father-in-law of Karen Dahlquist; cherished grandfather of Jordan, Luke, Rachel, Mason, and Dylan; dear brother of William Dahlquist; close friend and confidant of Joan Pettit. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Dahlquist and his brother Sherman Dahlquist.
Major Lamont Dahlquist proudly served for 22 years in the United States Air Force. He served in both the Korean War and Vietnam War where he flew F4 Phantom Jets and twice survived being shot down.
