Larry J. Burkhart

Larry Junior Burkhart, of Old Monroe, MO, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at the age of 75. Cherished son of the late Arthur and Violet Burkhart. Dear brother of Linda (The late John) Marrow, James W. Burkhart, and Joan E. (David) Porter, uncle and great uncle to many.  

Larry dedicated over 20 years working at the St. Charles Boys & Girls Clubs, spreading positivity and making a difference. His friendly and approachable nature made him a likable person who never met a stranger. Larry was a member of the Elks and a golfer at Bogey Hills Country Club. Whether at BBQs, fish fries or everyday conversations, he connected effortlessly with everyone. Larry's commitment to his family was unwavering with his lighthearted banter and his approachability in discussing anything with them. Larry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
