Larry James Tieman

Larry James Tieman, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Dorris Sue Tieman; cherished son of the late Ralph James and Katherine Theresa Tieman. Devoted father of Jeffrey Alan (Michelle Tieman) Tieman and Rebecca Sue (Bryan Ross) Ross; loving grandfather of Katherine Elizabeth Ross, Maire Tieman, and Colin James Ross; dear brother of Janice Hanne, Joan Hall, John Tiemann, the late Laverne Becker, the late Ralph Foerster, and the late Donald Bishop.



Larry proudly served in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Sue, in 1970 and they shared 50 beautiful years together. The memories and family they built together created strong roots within their family and it was most important to him. He cherished his children and grandchildren. He was a true gentleman, stern but kind. Larry had a caring heart. He enjoyed traveling to places such as Wisconsin and Michigan. He loved wildlife and bird watching, dedicating countless hours to outsmarting the squirrels. Larry is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.



Memorials may be made in Larry's name to American Heart Association.
