Larry Seagraves, Sr.

Larry Seagraves, Sr., age 64, of Elsberry, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Beloved husband of 44 wonderful years to Jeanne Seagraves; cherished son of the late Earl and Rose Seagraves; devoted father of Tammy (Charles) Orf and Larry (Tanya) Seagraves, Jr.; loving grandfather of Larry Seagraves III (Teylor), Danielle Orf (Nathan), Courtney Orf (Zach), Dustin Seagraves, Brandon Orf, Bayleigh Kreienheder, George Seagraves, Destiny Seagraves, and the late Gino Seagraves; treasured great-grandfather of Sophia Orf, Dominic Orf, Hazel Seagraves, and one on the way; dear brother of Carol Clover, Sharon (Richard) Byrd, Ronald (Susie) Seagraves, Bo (Vicky) Seagraves, and Michael (Debbie) Seagraves; cherished uncle of Jeff Byrd, Ronald Seagraves, Jr., Todd Seagraves, Traci Smith, and Stacie Beatman; loving son-in-law of Betty Spencer; and loving brother-in-law of Steve (Amie) Spencer.

He also leaves behind his beloved Beagles, Cherry, Bella, Hank, Baby, Hunter, Shadow, and S.A. and his cat, Missy.

Larry worked at Boeing where he retired after 40 years of service as a union machinist. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Larry will be remembered as a loving and generous man, who was a friend to all. Larry was the rock of his family, and their greatest hope is that his strength continues to live on with them throughout their lives. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
