Larry G. Trautman

Larry G. Trautman, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Shirley Trautman; cherished son of the late Edwin and Olivia Trautman. Devoted father of Craig Trautman (Mary), David Trautman (Elvia), Vicki Service (Kevin); loving grandfather of Lauren Service, Kaitlyn Service (Justin Manns) Madison Service, Riley Trautman, Colin Trautman, Parker Trautman; dear brother of Roland Trautman (Roberta “Bert”) and friend to many.

Larry proudly served in the United States Navy and continued to maintain close contract with his fellow servicemen well into his later years. Aligned with his years in the service, Larry earned an engineering degree and worked for McDonnel Douglas on various fighter programs for thirty-five years. Larry was a “jack-of-all-trades” but was born with a fishing pole in his hand and could be found “dropping a line” with life-long friends and family throughout most of his entire life. Larry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Larry's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
