Laurah Herbert

Herbert, Laurah, of Herculaneum, Missouri, died on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Walter G. Herbert, Jr.; beloved daughter of the late Aaron and Hattie Hancock; devoted mother of Vicki A. (Donald) Phillips and Claudia J. (Denny) Pilcher; cherished grandmother of Matthew, Chad, Bryce and Kaleb; treasured great-grandmother of Mariah, Chad, Jr., Kaydence and Andrew; dear sister of Ann Pace; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother James Hancock and Bill Hancock, sisters Violet Swallow and Valerie Ward, and grandson Jared Phillips.
Laurah loved dancing and had great rhythm. She enjoyed the jitterbug and big band. She had a great love for gardening and birds. Her gardens were admired by many. She was a great cook.
