Laurel “Ralph” Schmitz

Schmitz, Laurel “Ralph,” of O’Fallon, MO, died on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Elaine Marie Schmitz; cherished son of the late Ralph and Mary Schmitz; devoted father of Kaye (Dennis) Hart, Patty (Bob) Kennedy, Steve (Marcia) Schmitz, and Paul (Marti) Schmitz; loving grandfather of seven; treasured great-grandfather of four; dear brother of Phyllis Worrall.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Ralph was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
