Laurie Volz

Laurie Ann Volz (nee: Rudowicz), of Saint Peters, MO, fortified with Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Michael Volz; cherished daughter of the late Richard Francis Rudowicz and the late Delores Ann Rudowicz; devoted mother of Rachel Volz and Steven (fiancé, Katherine) Volz; dear sister of Dianne (Dennis) Carson and Richard (Julie) Rudowicz; Laurie is also survived by her two dogs, Pono and Penny Lane.

Laurie was a full-time homemaker all of her life. She had various jobs including, Thompson Recruitment, Russo’s Catering and Longaberger Baskets. In her high school years, she was Senior Class President and Prom Queen. She was very athletic and was active in softball and volleyball into adulthood. Laurie was known as the instigator of a classic food fight.

Laurie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
