Lavelle E. Phillips

Phillips, Lavelle E. (nee: Schierding), of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late Harold G. Phillips; beloved daughter of the late Edward and Bertha H. Schierding; devoted mother of Terry L. (Mary) Phillips, Nancy Phillips, Donald E. (Jannette) Phillips, and Gilbert H. (Sally) Phillips; adoring grandmother of Christopher, Nikki, Jane, Sarah, Rachel, Jeffrey, and Jason; cherished great-grandmother of Sebastian, Skylar, Meda, Hadley, and Desmond. She is preceded in death by her brother James E. Schierding. Lavelle was employed as a secretary at St. Charles School District. She was a member of St. Charles Co. Sports Hall of Fame - Bowling (1994) and Immanuel Lutheran Lydia Society - Birthday Club #21. She also bowled for Hollrah's Hallmark Stores and was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation or Immanuel Lutheran Church for landscaping and beautification.
