Laverne “Bee” Ramatowski-Smith

Laverne "Bee" Ramatowski-Smith (nee Short), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Edward Ramatowski by first marriage, and Albert C. Smith by second marriage; cherished daughter of the late Louis and Celeste Short; devoted mother of Lin (the late Dr. Robert Burgerman) Ramatowski, Don (Kim) Ramatowski, Mary (Mark) Stehlin, Cheryl Shargel, and Robert (Judy) Ramatowski; loving grandmother of Eddie (Summer Shelton) Ramatowski, Brandon (Tracey) Schenk,  Brett Stehlin, Adam (Ruth) Stehlin, Brianna (Luke) Thomas, Thomas (Jacqueline Vogel) Ramatowski, Caitlin (Eric) Pitts, Abby Ramatowski, and the late Bradley Bowman, Kayle Pierce, and Travis Thorpe; treasured great-grandmother of Brantley Schenk, Dakota Schenk, Birklee Thomas, Desmond Pitts, Melody Pitts, and Flora Pitts; dear sister of Louis (Sharon) Short, Jr., and the late Lillian (husband Larry survives) Steller, Faye (husband Don survives) Albers, and Doris Short

Bee was a devout Christian and was a member of Bethesda Evangelical Church. She was an avid Cardinals Baseball fan, and loved watching them play. Bee was very sweet and outgoing, and always went out of her way for others. Bee was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bee's honor to Bethesda Evangelical Church.
