LaVerne Plackemeier

LaVerne was a child support enforcement case worker for the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s office for 16 years – retiring in 2003. LaVerne was a volunteer at the Fox Theater and was a founding member of The CALL Group for surviving spouses. She was very active and enjoyed walking and participated in several local Volksmarches. LaVerne also loved the outdoors and gardening, especially planting vegetables, flowers, and roses. She never sat and loved keeping busy. LaVerne was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed making wonderful meals for her family. She enjoyed sewing, music, and played violin and organ. LaVerne was caring and helpful, and always kept positive with a smile on her face. She adored her grandkids and loved spending time with them. She was the favorite person of every family dog. LaVerne was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
