Lavonna “Bonnie” M. Byrd

Lavonna “Bonnie” M. Byrd (nee Wheeler), of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age of 87. Loving wife of 65 years to Jerry L. Byrd, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Homer and Zella L. Wheeler; devoted mother of Jerry L. (Lynn) Byrd, Jr.; dear brother of John (Linda) Wheeler; cherished grandmother of Brandon Byrd, Austin (Ilsa) Byrd; great-grandmother of Athena Byrd. 

Bonnie had a passion for tennis and was an amazing artist who loved to paint. She enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. Family was central to her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren. Bonnie was a caring, kind-hearted, and devoted mother. Bonnie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
