Lawrence E. (Larry) Zerkel

Zerkel, Lawrence E. "Larry", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the age of 63. Loving husband of Deborah Kay Zerkel (nee: Theel); beloved son of the late Francis and Virginia Zerkel; devoted father of Amanda (Ken) Taylor and Melissa (John) Cash; treasured grandfather of Colby, Logan, Lilly, Shianna, Nikki, Kayla, Marissa and Patrick; dear brother of Judy  James, Cathy (Ken) Thompson and Joe Zerkel. He is preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Andrew "Andy" Zerkel. Larry was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
Larry served in the United States Navy for 4 years. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 44 years. Larry enjoyed photography, loved his bible, and cherished his grandchildren.
