Mr. Lewis was a 32nd Degree Mason & Shriner, a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church, lifetime member of VFW Post #2866 of St. Charles MO; recipient of the Purple Heart medal with 2 campaign ribbons, the Bronze Star and the Good Conduct Medal; past President of Mississippi Association of Life Underwriters and spent 40 years in the insurance business.
