Lawrence Jacobs

Lawrence "Larry" J. Jacobs, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Joyce E. Jacobs (nee: Schrader); dear son of the late Herman J. and Eleanor Jacobs; devoted father of Larry (Kathy) Jacobs, Ross (Patty) Jacobs, Lana (Bill) Schneider, and Keith (Megan) Jacobs; cherished grandfather of Nick (Jessica) Jacobs, Todd (Karen) Jacobs, Kelly (Andrew) Lister, Lance Jacobs, Erin (Dan) Mareschal, Ryan Jacobs, Nicole Schneider, Katie Schneider, Hannah Schneider, Carter Jacobs, and Addison Jacobs; treasured great-grandfather of Lee, Ashley, Austin, Elliot and Sam; dear brother of Eugene Jacobs and Eleanor Weseman. He is preceded in death by his brother Hubert Jacobs and sister Mary Catherine Beilsmith.
Larry was a manager at McDonnell Douglas for many years before he retired and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer, a member of St. Charles Borromeo, loved to coach baseball, and was a talented carpenter. His greatest passion in life was his grandchildren and family.
