Lawrence “Larry” Henderson

Lawrence “Larry” Henderson was born on October 11, 1935 in Perryville, Missouri to Jesse Edward and Mildred A. Henderson (Hudson) and passed Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the age of 82. He married Mary Ellen Morris on May 5, 1961 and to this union was gifted two sons: Mark Edward Henderson on May 12, 1963 and Curtis Ray Henderson on January 21, 1966.

Larry accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 13 with his baptism held at Brookside Missionary Baptist Church. Later, he became a devoted member at First Baptist of Lake St. Louis. He spent his free moments practicing his golf swing, creating woodworking projects, or making memories with his wife, and his sons and their families.

He is survived by sons: Mark (Donna) of Foristell, MO, and Curtis (Laurie) of St. Charles, MO; sister Ina June Kahmke of Auxvasse, MO; brothers: Madison and Bert of Wichita, KS; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who mourn his passing.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Ray and Charles.
