Lawrence R. “Larry” Lake

Lawrence R. "Larry" Lake of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ethel Lake.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Lake; his daughter, Traci (Jeff) Fuchs; and his grandchildren, Branden Fuchs and Taylor (Eli) Surdyke.

Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Army and, later in life, was involved with the American Legion at St. Charles Post 312. He was an educator for twenty-eight years in Riverview Gardens. For twenty years, Larry served his community with distinction as a commander of the Florissant Police Reserve where he also served on the marksman team. He also participated in the Men of Beaumont organization. Larry will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Larry’s name may be made to the Backstoppers.
