Leatha “Lea” B. Padgett

Leatha "Lea" B. Padgett of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 84 Wednesday, June 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Dan” Padgett, Sr.; her parents, Willie and Carlona Thomas; five siblings; and her grandchildren, Tristan Padgett and Ethan Brumbeloe.

Lea is survived by her children, James “Dan” (Kate) Padgett, Jr. and Ray Brumbeloe; her brother, Robert Thomas; her grandchildren, Garrett Padgett, Cody Shannon, David Brumbeloe, Zach (Sidney) Harrell, Brittany Harrell, and Nate Harrell; and her great-grandchildren, Nora and Abram.

Lea was a loving mother and grandmother who raised and always supported her two sons. She was a bargain-hunter extraordinaire who could find a deal anywhere she went shopping. She enjoyed watching movies, dancing and listening to Blues music. Lea was a woman who could always put a smile on her family’s face. She was very loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
