Lee Ellen Brasseur (nee Brasseur), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the age of 74. Beloved daughter of the late Betty Hayden and Garvin Brasseur; devoted mother of Hope (Justin Moellering) Brasseur.
Lee was a professor at ISU for more than 20 years. She received her doctorate from the University of Michigan and was well-respected in her field. She enjoyed writing and was a very established writer. Lee was a published author, having written the book "Visualizing Technical Information: A Cultural Critique", as well as many other articles. In her free time, Lee enjoyed swimming at the YMCA, knitting, and watching figure skating. She was a cat lover and a very caring and loving person. Lee loved spending summers on the lake in Michigan. She was quiet, but incredibly kind and caring with a genuine personality. Lee was extremely proud of her daughter Hope, who was the center of her whole world. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
