Lena A. Caruso

Caruso, Lena A., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Dominick Caruso; beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Lena Spiguzza; devoted mother of the late Linda Works, Frank (Maria) Caruso, Susan Dwyer, and Thomas (Timmie) Caruso; cherished grandmother of Mary Works, David (Julia) Works, Jessica (Gary) Goughenour, Matthew Caruso, Nicholas Caruso, Danielle (Travis) Rowe, Tracie Myers, David (Kaisey) Jaspering, Amanda Jaspering, and Faith Caruso; treasured great-grandmother of James Baur, Grace, Matthew, and Rachel Works, Levi and Simon Rowe, Elijah Myers, and Baby Goughenour on-the-way; dear mother-in-law of James Works; loving sister of Sue Lupia, Marie Collier, Peter Spiguzza, and Jean (E.J.) Sporleder. She is preceded in death by her step-mother Josephine Spiguzza, and siblings Salvatore "Charlie" Spiguzza, Joseph Spiguzza, and Thomasine Edwards.
Lena enjoyed going out to eat, watching old movies, and soap operas. She always had plenty of Tang and Jello in her pantry, but her favorite drink was coffee.
