Lender E. Runnels, of Chesterfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at the age of 94. Loving husband of the late Nira Runnels (nee Raff); beloved son of the late George and Iva E. Runnels; devoted father of Cliff (Trena) Schaumburg and the late Sharon Runnels; cherished grandfather of five; and treasured great-grandfather and great-great grandfather of many; dear brother of Cutter (Firn), Bea, and, Max.
Lender enjoyed making furniture. He could play any string instrument and “blew a mean harmonica” and loved bluegrass music. Lender was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
