Lenora A. Funke

Lenora A. Funke (nee Saab) of St Charles, MO passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 83. Loving wife of Donald Funke, beloved daughter of the late Otto and Lenora Saab and sister to Ellen and her deceased siblings: Mary Jane, George, and James. Devoted mother of Nora and Jay Klutenkamper, Natalie and Larry Cox, Christopher Funke and Brian Douglas, Donna Shaw, and Joseph and Tammy Funke. She was the cherished grandmother to Anne and Dan Chodan, Ethan Klutenkamper, Morgan and David Bradford. Rachel and Rick Rettig, Brendan Shaw, Kenadi and Luke Shanahan, Joel Klutenkamper, Amanda and Ron Johnson, Matthew Shaw, David Cox, Steven and Diana Cox, Daniel Cox, Ryan Funke, Jessica Cox, Jacob Shaw, Joanna Cox, Josh Cox, and Samuel Cox; great grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren. 

Having been married just shy of 62 years, Lenora loved her annual travel (cruises) with her husband Don, using the opportunity to spend time together and seeking that special gift or souvenir for family members and friends. She enjoyed bowling, spending time with family and creating hand-made items for family members in preparation for her favorite holiday, Christmas.
