Leo Richard Bachinski II

Leo Richard Bachinski II of Defiance, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the age of 78. Cherished son of the late Delia and Leo Richard Bachinski, Sr. Devoted father of Leo Bachinski, John Bachinski, Amy (Dennis) Robinson, Pam (Craig) de Garcia, and Molly Bachinski; loving grandfather of six; dear brother of Jean Sand and Joan Schlueter. Preceded in death by brother, Bill Peterson and sister, Peggy Kiel.

Leo was a member of Operating Engineers Local 513. He followed his father, the first vice-president of the International, into the Operating Engineers, and he was followed by his two sons and several other family members into the organization. Leo was also vice-president of Golden Gloves in St. Louis.  He had an extreme zest for life, and he loved his family and friends. Leo was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
