Leo “Lynn” Crecelius Jr.

Leo “Lynn” Crecelius Jr., of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Caroline Crecelius; cherished son of the late Rosetta and Leo Crecelius, Sr. Devoted father of Cynthia (Eugene) Buehne, Anthony (Dorothy) Crecelius, and Dwayne Crecelius; loving grandfather of Courtney Buehne, Logan Crecelius, Lucas Buehne, Keeven Crecelius, Olivia Crecelius, and Sophia Crecelius; dear brother of Marlene Lenza, and Phyllis Crecelius.



Lynn always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. He enjoyed collecting M&M dispensers, a hobby he took up after receiving a classic car dispenser as a gift years ago. He enjoyed classic car shows with his friends, even entering his own ‘37 Black Cherry Chevy classic car. He loved do-it-yourself projects and became talented in woodworking. Lynn was proud of the life and family he and his wife of 57 years had built together. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, and devoted grandfather. Lynn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
