Leon J. Klump

KLUMP, Leon "Lee", O'Fallon, MO, September 26, 2007 age 80; loving husband of the late Maryann Klump; devoted father of Barbara (and the late David) Meyer, James (Jerre and the late Myra) Klump, and Carolyn (Michael) Maddox, cherished grandfather of Kathryn (Bryan), Daniel (Jaime), Matthew, Scott, Christopher, Andrew, Earl (Charlotte), Beth (Christopher), John, Sarah (Andrew) and Adam; great-grandfather of Tyler, Samuel, Benjamin and Ella. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Gertrude Klump, Sr.; sister, Zelma Roewe; and brother, Melvin Klump. Mr. Klump was a contract estimator for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing, St. Louis for 20 years and previously worked as a tool & die maker for Comet Tool & Die. He was a Seaman 1st Class in the U. S. Navy during World War II 1945-1946.
