Leonard L. Jokerst

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or SSM Hospice. Jokerst, Leonard "Al", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, November 28, 2008 at the age of 90. Dearest husband of Eileen Jokerst; dear son of the late Joseph and Catherine Jokerst; devoted father of Michael Jokerst and Mary Ann Jokerst; dear brother of Florence Kreitler; brother-in-law of Jeanette Jokerst. He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Thekla Meyer, Edgar Jokerst, Marie Fleig, Leona Jokerst, Wilfred Jokerst and Gilbert Jokerst. Leonard served for 3 years combat in WWII receiving 6 Bronze stars, two Oak Leaf Clusters with his Purple Heart for injuries during combat. He was employed at General Motors for 30 years before his retirement. Leonard was a dear husband, father, brother, Godfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
