Leonard P. Licata

Leonard P. Licata, of O’Fallon, Missouri, went home to be with Jesus on September 9, 2020 at the age of 71 after a long health challenge.

Len was born on March 22, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was the son of the late Joseph S. and Vance (nee Simonetti) Licata.  He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  His career spanned many years in the energy management and healthcare industries.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, daughter, Jennifer (Keith) Nelson, grandson, Kyle Nelson, of Simsbury, Connecticut, and granddaughter, Brittney Nelson of Edmond, Oklahoma; sisters Josephine L. Licata, and Vincenta M. Licata, of San Francisco, California, as well as many other family members.

Len was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals.  He touched the lives of all he met and will be missed by his many friends and family.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to Service International of St. Louis Family Church.
