Leroy O. Jansen

Leroy Oscar Jansen, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 61 years to Virginia Jansen; cherished son of the late Joe and Rose Jansen; devoted father of James D. (Kathleen Loness) Jansen, Jeff A. (Patty Johnson) Jansen, Deborah L. (Doug) Cockrell, Phillip W. (Ellen) Jansen and Daniel C. (Teresa Macleod) Jansen,; loving grandfather of Crystal (Kenny) Conway, Michael Woolbright, Steven Woolbright, Andrew S. (Cassi) Cockrell, Timothy R. (Jessica Moore) Cockrell, Gregory T. Cockrell, Colleen R. Cockrell, Alexis D. Jansen and Dani D. Jansen; treasured great-grandfather of Kennedie, Brody and Jamison; dear brother of Norbert, Edwin, Florence, Elenor, Rosemary, Elvra, Daniel, Dorothy, Kenneth, and Roger; Leroy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Leroy was an usher for the St. Louis Cardinals for over 25 years. He also worked for Ameren and Schuckman Ornamental Iron. 

Leroy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
