Les Hollrah

Les Hollrah, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Krissi Hollrah; cherished son of the late Raymond “Ray” and Viola Hollrah; devoted father of Leslie (Ryan) Magrew and Priscilla (Tim Herman) Hollrah; loving grandfather of Miley Magrew, Adalyn Magrew, Isla Magrew, and Henry Magrew; dear brother of Joyce Hollrah, Ron (Jeanette) Hollrah, the late Dennis (Brenda) Hollrah, the late Allen Hollrah, and the late Kurt Hollrah. Les was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity for 48 years, and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles where he was involved in their youth ministry for 8 years. After his family retired he became the owner of the Red Wing Shoe Store in St. Charles. Les later became a food and beverage manager for 20 years and sold furniture until he retired. In his younger years he played hockey on a recreational league and later became a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan. He had a green thumb and loved to tend to the garden. Les enjoyed woodworking, and even made his granddaughters dollhouses. Les was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Les’s name to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
