Whinery, Les "Spanky", of Warrenton, Missouri, died on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the age of 65. Loving husband of Georgia Whinery NEE: Erdman, beloved son of the late Chester A. Whinery and the late Ethel Kohler; devoted father of Lynnette Marie (Matthew) Behrle, Leslie "Dean" Whinery, Barry "Ken" (Kim) Seabolt, Andrew B. Seabolt and Kerri (Curtis) Hockemeyer; cherished grandfather of 11; dear brother of Roy (Kate) Whinery and Dale Kohler and brother-in-law of Thomas Stone-Erdman; beloved uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his siblings Velma Burkett and Norman Whinery. He was a proud member of UAW Local 2250 and enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or to the wishes of the family c/o Georgia Whinery.
