Lester A. “Les” Hallemeier, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the age of 86. Loving husband of the late Lillian "Pat" Hallemeier; beloved son of the late Casper O. and Pearl G. Hallemeier; devoted father of David (Patty) Hallemeier, Carol (Steve) Strain, Dennis (Craig Sponholz) Hallemeier, and Danny (Sherry) Hallemeier; treasured grandfather of Megan (Jared) Edmondson, John Hallemeier, Amanda Hallemeier, Jon Hallemeier, Jennifer (Brian) Wissmann, and April (Chris) Bailey; treasured great-grandfather of Adelyn, Fiona, Penelope, Reese, Reagan, and Presley.
Les proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a past member of Knights of Columbus. Les was a devout Catholic and an avid fisherman. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
