Lester “Dale” Gillam

Lester “Dale” Gillam of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Judy Gillam; cherished son of the late Raymond Lester and Marlyn Louise Gillam. Devoted father of Sunny Heller (Joby) Murillo, Rosey (Brian) Bischof, and Joey (Sarah) Gillam; loving grandfather of Alexis Heller (Derek) Piccinini, Cyanne Heller, Breonna Gillam, Kristiana Gillam, Kaleb Gillam, Justin Browne, Brooke Bischof, Kinsleigh Gillam, and Nicolas Murillo; treasured great-grandfather of Zakir Heller; dear brother of Carla Havlin; uncle of Doug Havlin, Brian (Laura) Havlin, Julie (Justin) Murphy; Father-in-Law of Sean Browne.

Dale was a member of Greater St. Louis Association of the Deaf and Gateway Silent Seniors and was a volunteer at the Deaf Club. Dale enjoyed hunting and he loved operating his collection of remote-control cars. But most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Dale was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
