Lester F. Schaper

"Lec", of Moscow Mills, Missouri, died on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the age of 78. Beloved husband to Rosemary Schaper; dearest son to the late Fred and Lily Schaper; Devoted father to Debbie (John) Broyles, Carol (Shawn) Foley, Jeff Schaper and Jerry Schaper; beloved grandfather to Jessica, Megan, Jenna, and Katie. He is preceded in death by brothers, Herald "Butch" Schaper and Delmar "Smokey" Schaper. He was a Co-Owner of Schaper's Store in Moscow Mills, Missouri for 32 years. Following Schaper's Store, Lec worked for Dulin-Harrell Lumber Company in Hawk Point and Troy, Missouri for 14 yrs. After his association at Dulin-Harrell Lumber Co., he thoroughly enjoyed his retirement. Everyone who knew Lec, knew him as a "handy-man". He enjoyed tinkering and fixing anything. He spent much of his time at auctions in his recent years. Lec was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved and will be deeply missed by everyone.
