Leward "Lee" Osthoff

Leward “Lee” Osthoff of St, Charles, MO, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on Saturday, June 15, 2024 after a short stay at Mount Carmel Communities. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Verna Osthoff.  

Leward is survived by his wife, Fern; his sons Terry (Katie) and Danny (Pam); his grandchildren Connor, Matthew and Maura Osthoff. 

Leward served in the US Army, and graduated from the University of Missouri in 1951. He worked at Cupples Products for 36 years where he had the opportunity to travel both domestic and international. He liked all sports and was a devoted Cardinal baseball fan. He coached his boys little league baseball teams and was a board member of the St Charles Junior Baseball Association. After retirement he enjoyed bicycling, line dancing and working the daily crossword puzzles in the Post-Dispatch. 

Lee will be very much missed by his family and friends.
