Greenlee, Lewis P., of Saint Charles, MO, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Loretta R. Greenlee; cherished son of the late Ernest and Eunice Greenlee; devoted father of Lewis (Lynda) Greenlee, Kenneth (Jeannie) Greenlee, and Carol (Raymond) Greenlee Rhoads; loving grandfather of Ryan, Tyler, Kate, Sean, Micah, Wayne, Bobee, and Mykel; treasured great-grandfather of Mikael, Kaya, AnnTellin, Richard, Denim, Thomas, Micah, Taylor, Kayden, and Emma; dear brother of Lavon Schartz.
Lewis was preceded in death by his grandson, Richard A. Rohn, and his siblings: Clyde Greenlee, Maxine Vaughan, and John Greenlee.
Lewis proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He went on to work as a diesel mechanic for Mid Co. Sales and Service for over 40 years. He enjoyed working on cars and playing softball. He loved animals, especially his dog, Buddy. Lewis’ greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, or ASPCA.
