Lewis “Steve” Thomas

Lewis Stephen “Steve” Thomas, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Leticia Thomas; cherished son of the late Daniel and Robbie Thomas. Devoted father of Sylvia (Jeff) Congleton and Stephanie Thomas; loving grandfather of Sophia Congleton; dear brother of the late Jerry Wayne Thomas.

Steve proudly served in the United States Air Force retiring after 21 years. His duty assignments were highlighted by his participation in Operation Desert Storm. He was a committed husband and father. Steve always put his family before himself. He touched the lives of everyone that came in contact with him. Steve was the comedian of the family, life of the party. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at Costco for 16 years. The Costco staff was Steve’s extended family. Steve was a huge soccer and college football fan. He loved everything about Texas - lived there for many years. He also enjoyed Western movies. Steve was also an animal lover, especially dogs. Steve was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
