Lillian “Babe” Bell

August 2, 1920 — March 29, 2014

Bell, Lillian "Babe", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Curtis Lee Bell; beloved daughter of the late Earnest and Lilly Bennett; devoted mother of Louise Mary; cherished grandmother of Mark Renfro, Gerald Renfro and Michael McCall; treasured great-grandmother of nine. She is preceded in death by her daughter Linda Roberts, one great-grandchild, three sisters and one brother.
Lillian was born in Texas and lived there until 2002. She was proud to be a Texan, and wanted everyone she met to know she was from Texas. She was sure that God would have a Texas section in heaven.
Lillian was very athletic and played basketball in high school. She owned and ran Bell Brass and Aluminum Foundry for eight years on her own after her husband died. She then went on to work for Dallas Co. Tax Office. She loved flowers, was always impeccably dressed and an immaculate housekeeper. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
