Lillian D. Steller of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 83 on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Short and Faye (survived by Don) Albers; and her parents, Louis and Celeste Short.
Lillian is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-seven years, Larry Steller; her children, Larry Steller, Jr., Teri (Tom) Clemens, Sherri (Dennis) Moore, Chris LaFaver, Donna Schaeffer; her sixteen grandchildren; her twenty-eight great-grandchildren; her three great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Laverne Ramamatowski and Louis (Sharon) Short; and her nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The joy of Lillian’s life was her marriage to her beloved husband, Larry, and all the time they shared together traveling, dancing, going to the Eagle’s Club in Alton, and other adventures. Throughout her time, Lillian left her mark on Cahokia, IL and Ballwin, MO while living there. Her interests included talking politics or economics, going to the casino, and sitting down with a great book. She was a devout Christian who was strong in her faith and prided herself on being a terrific mother to her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
