Memorials may be made to Arts Council of St. Charles County, 425 Spencer Rd., St. Peters, MO 63376. Yahn, Lillian S., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Glendon H. Yahn; dear daughter of the late Leonard and Bettie Kessler; cherished mother of Glendon G. Yahn, Gloria (Bob) Griffith, Bettie (Tony) Yahn-Kramer, and her beloved dog, "Sweetie;" loving sister of the late Corrine Ebert, David Kessler, and Ruth Kearley; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. Lillian was a journalist for 30 years, and as a reporter she contributed to the St. Charles Journal and the St. Charles Banner News. She was also a member of Emmanuel U.C.C. at Weldon Spring, St. John U.C.C. in St. Charles, MO, 1st Capital Republican Women's Club, Francis Howell School District P.T.A, Extension Homemakers Group, St. Charles Historical Society, St. Charles Artist's Guild, Oak Leaf Artist's Guild, and committee chair of TNT Homecoming of the former residents of Howell, Hamburg, and the Toonerville-Y area.
